Boston, Part 2

We spent our last day on the east coast in Boston taking in the plethora of historical sites it has to offer. We followed the Freedom Trail from beginning to end, so we basically visited the entire founding of our country in a day. I highly recommend doing the Trail if you visit Boston! I have a feeling it will become a tradition each time we visit.

We explored the USS Constitution.

Please observe the adorable nuns in front of the Constitution.

We walked. A lot.

We ate meatball subs in the Italian district.

We visited Old North Church (where the "one if by land, two if by sea" lanterns were hung!)

We found the balcony where they read the Declaration of Independence.

We explored Granary Cemetery, where we saw the graves of Sam Adams, Paul Revere, John Hancock, Mother Goose, and more I can't remember.

Lindsey tried her first Boston Cream Pie at the hotel where it was originally made.

Tessie posed like the founding fathers.

We ate dinner at America's oldest tavern: Bell in Hand. Perfect end to a wonderful visit with a very special friend and sister!
