We had a very eventful weekend in the Indy area! We started out by heading to Banker's Life Arena to watch the Pacers take on the Lakers. Unfortunately the Pacers didn't squeak out a win, but we did get to see Kobe, Dwight Howard, and even Metta World Peace (not a favorite in the Indy area) in action.
We even made it on the jumbo screen! Can you spot Jake?
We headed back to downtown Indy on Saturday. Jake and I met up with our friends Amanda and Adam to give them a little tour of the Mass Ave. area. We ate lunch at Chatham Tap, shopped at Silver in the City, and rounded out our visit at The Flying Cupcake.
Jake and I had heard great things about Fountain Square, but we have never explored the area until yesterday. We've been missing out! We checked out New Day Meadery and a few antique shops, but I've made mental notes of some restaurants and shops I want to visit on our next free Saturday. Duck Pin Bowling is also on the list!
