The family and I made our yearly pilgrimage to Madison for the Chautauqua Art Festival this past weekend. This year, Jake and I spent the day with our parents and my aunt and uncle. It's so neat to start to see our two families getting to know each other and spend time together. The weather was beautiful and I enjoyed being back in Madison for the day. It's always one of the fall traditions that I really look forward to.

Happy Fall!
Happy first day of fall!
Here's my fall check list:
1. drink lots of cider from this place.
2. carve pumpkins.
3. have lots of mums on my porch.
4. take walks in the evenings.
5. admire the trees at least once on Grandpa's property.
3. visit the Renaissance Festival.
4. go to the Madison Chautauqua Festival of the Arts.
5. visit Starbucks way too frequently for their pumpkin latte.
6. make at least one of the hundreds of fall recipes I pinned on Pinterest.

Chautauqua in Madison
The parents and I headed to Madison, IN for the annual Chautauqua Art Festival on Saturday. I ate some festival favorites (gyros, pumpkin rolls, and kettle corn), bought way too many vintage earrings, and enjoyed being in one of my favorite towns during the fall.
