New Wreaths!

I just posted a few more wreaths up on KikiWreath!

I've been waiting to use some of the vintage fabric I picked up for a while now. I'm really happy with the result!

I'm a fan of all things nautical, so when I found some decorative rope during one of my shopping trips I knew I had to make a wreath with it. I kind of want to keep this one for myself...

KikiWreath

During our "wedding season," I started making yarn wreaths for family and friends as thank you presents for all of their help. I started to get more and more requests to make them, so I decided to start a little Etsy business!

KikiWreath is my etsy shop! I have been making all kinds of yarn and fabric wreaths this summer and I'm finally ready to open my shop. Also, I would appreciate you becoming a fan of KikiWreath on facebook. I have a little link on the top left of my blog that goes straight to my shop. I'll update my shop whenever I get a new wreath made, so visit often!

Here are some of my favorites.

Etsy, perhaps?

So, I've been sitting in the idea of starting an Etsy shop for a while now. I've been making fabric and yarn wreaths since our wedding and I think it would be an enjoyable way to earn a little extra money during summer break from school. After doing some research, starting a shop is a tad more involved than I originally thought. Shipping, taxes, returns and exchanges, eek! But I think I'm going to put on my big girl pants and give it a try. I could quite possibly gain some confidence from the experience and maybe even sell a few! I'll keep you posted on when this shop come in to existence. :)

Crafty time

I've been in a huge crafting mood ever since the wedding. Last year I was really in to knitting scarves. This year, it's yarn wreaths. I made them for a few family members as thank you presents for the wedding, and now they've been popping up as ideas for Christmas presents. There's a good yarn wreath tutorial here at one of my favorite blogs. Happy crafting!

(bunting has also been a crafting obsession of mine...just wait for wedding pictures!)
