This is the first year that I've gone all out in getting summer flowers for our house. Last year I just bought a few for our front steps...but those ended up dying at the end of June. Oopsie.
I wanted to do something a little different for our front porch instead of the regular clay pots. When Jake and I visited an antique mall in Greenfield I found all of these vintage tins that I thought would make great planters! Plus, they're pretty fun. I didn't do anything special to the tins before I put the flowers in them. Just add some potting soil and you're good to go!
Old watering cans work great, too!
