Our home base for our east coast trip was Linds's new town of Portsmouth, NH. It is the most picturesque little town I've ever seen. Right on the water, a great main street with original stores, and a naval shipyard just across the border in Maine. We even went on the naval base to watch fireworks for the 4th. And of course, I have to mention our favorite breakfast spot: the Bagel Caboose. Yep, just what it sounds like. You have to love a town with a whole train car devoted to bagels.
